Landslide Records on Google Maps

Jul 18, 2012 | Category: Google Maps

Geoscience Australia has released a Google Maps based application called Landslide Search that allows users to search the historical database of Australian landslides since 1842.

It is possible to search the map by location, date, impact and landlide ID. You can search by location either by entering the name of a town or city, by state or by map bounds. It is possible to then select a date range to search for landslide records within a defined period of time.
